Since graduating from Purdue in 1972, I have dedicated myself to serving others in my areas of professional knowledge. I thrive on learning from my experiences with others every day.   • Member Council of Residential Specialists, [CRS] To fill the specific needs of residential home buyers and sellers, The Residential Sales Council of The National Association of Realtors instituted a class of expert real estate professional, CRS. I have completed the 80 classroom hours of the highest level of residential real estate education aimed at making residential real estate transactions as smooth and stress-free as possible. CRS study encompasses in depth content on applying cutting-edge technology to facilitate buyer and seller services in today’s real estate industry. Advanced understanding of negotiation. In depth exploration of marketing real property and utilization of time and resources to maximize rate of return and efficiency of time. In depth financing knowledge; insight into vehicles to finance and facilitate the sale or purchase of real property. Proper comparative market analysis and pricing procedures. Fiduciary responsibility, loyalty and knowledge of quality service to buyer and sellers. A CRS has qualified for this designation through performance, experience, and has documented millions of dollars in sales representing both buyers and sellers. Only 4 % of Realtor’s nationally have qualified for this professional designation. What this means is that when you work with a CRS, you are working with someone who is more knowledgeable, more connected and informed, and more experienced.
  • Resort Second Home Property Specialist [RSPS]. The National Association of Realtor's designation requires a week of all day classes and multiple exams. 1031 IRS Tax Deferred Property Exchanges, Understanding Resort real estate markets, rental income and expense, personal vs. investment taxation, are just some of the subjects intensely investigated. I also developed a Network of Resort Area top producing professionals whom I send and receive Buyer and Seller referrals to.
  • Real Estate Broker [RB]. After a minimum of three years of Hawaii real estate service and a significant number of closed transactions, one can take 80 additional class hours and exams and delve further into all aspects of Buyer and Seller fiduciary representation.
  • Recognized as Century 21's Top Maui Sales Broker & Top Producing Agent in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. I am regularly acknowledged amongst my peers and in the Maui real estate community as The Top Producer. Over the last decade, I have successfully represented a combination of 300 or so Seller and Buyer transaction sides representing well over two-hundred fifty million dollars of real estate. Most important to my clients is not the accolades but the experience and knowledge gained in my everyday performance on behalf of my Sellers and Buyers. I know that being respected by my professional peers is elemental in negotiating and representing my clients’ interests in this community.
  • Century 21 International Hall of Fame: Centurion: After five consecutive years of being recognized as performing in the top one-half percent of Century 21's 144,000 agents, I have received 5 consecutive Centurion and Grand Centurion designations and was inducted into the Century 21 Honor Society and Hall of Fame.
  • 9-Year AWARDEE: Hawaii 'Top Realtor' 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. Annually recognized as being in the Top 100 Realtors amongst Hawaii's 14,000 plus brokers and agents.

Actively contributing and participating in the dialogue about how to preserve the essence of South Maui, the very reason , 2.4 million visitor’s call Maui the Number One Island Destination in the world, is a top priority for me. It is an opportunity for me to envision, plan, and give back to the community that I live in.

Living in a home that is on the ocean in Maui brings with it a responsibility to preserving the natural wonders and resources that make Maui so special. I am actively involved in representing my neighborhood to the Maui Planning Commission, in the ongoing planning and dialogue regarding our Maui shoreline building set backs.
